Last month saw an emotional and action-packed day for our current Year 13s as they said fond farewells to friends and teachers marking the end of an era.
It was wonderful to see the return of many of our traditions that accompany the final day celebration, including the bouncy castle, shirt signing, food and drink, yearbooks, the crocheted tutor group blankets, singing the school song together and not forgetting the ice cream van.
Headteacher Ian Keary addressed leavers: "Believe in yourself, be confident in your own skin and who you are. Continue to be inspired by learning, pursue your passions and seek to change the world by your example and actions. Have fond memories of the School, singing the school song and that sense of community and family that resonated through the halls.
Whilst you leave us today remember your actions and behaviours have had an impact on all those who walk through our doors."
While we are, as always sad to see them go, we are delighted to welcome them to our alumnae community and hope that this too marks, for them, an exciting new chapter.
